The History of Tabernacle Church

Tabernacle Church of God of Grace was founded on January 28, 2006, in the living room of founding member Adeline Arnaud in Indian Trail, NC, under the leadership of Pastor Jude Saint-Cyr. Just as following Jesus Christ requires unwavering commitment, dedication, and sacrifice, so did the establishment of Tabernacle Church. It was a journey marked by courage, determination, and faith in God's purpose.

The church began with eight devoted founding members who held weekly Sunday services in one another’s homes. These gatherings were not just simple Bible studies or worship services; they were opportunities to deepen Christian relationships and grow closer to God. What mattered most was the collective commitment and overwhelming desire to live as true disciples of Christ, pursuing His purpose and destination for their lives.

After months of prayer and perseverance, Tabernacle Church was officially inaugurated on June 11, 2006, at Kilgo United Methodist Church in Charlotte. In a private chapel with 30 members, the church's journey took root. Through fervent prayer and the anointing of the Holy Spirit, the congregation began to grow.

From 2008 to 2010, the church relocated to Plaza Baptist Church, where membership increased to 60 members. In 2010, Tabernacle Church moved to its current location at Hickory Grove Park, where it continues to thrive with 130 members and the leadership of four dedicated pastors.
